The Perfect Storm

This building was under Local Law 11 repairs for several years, making it impossible to photograph during that time. On the morning of the first big snowstorm of 2022, I woke up early and headed into the city to capture its magic.

I chose this image to highlight the dedication of New Yorkers. Despite the cold and wind, this man was diligently performing his job, ensuring that others could go about their daily activities. His efforts exemplify the resilience and determination of the people of the Big Apple.

I also admire the architectural details of this landmark building, which stand out even more beautifully against the backdrop of freshly fallen snow.
