This piece holds great significance for me, not only because it can only be captured twice a year depending on the weather, but also because it was taken on my birthday. After a late lunch with a friend, I arrived at the location an hour before the phenomenon occurred. Another photographer had kindly saved me a spot right at the center, amidst hundreds of people waiting. I managed to take about five shots, which was all I needed. I decided not to edit this image, wanting to preserve its raw authenticity.
