The Day After Tomorrow

After being stuck indoors for two years due to COVID-19, this was the first shoot I did with my photography friends. We stayed by the waterfront in New Jersey until 3 AM. People might wonder how I managed to align the clouds so perfectly. I actually saw the formation approaching and visualized the shot in my mind. I asked a friend to hold an umbrella above my head while I pressed the shutter. I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome when I got home. I knew the shot was good, but I didn't realize just how good it would be.

After the shoot, we discovered our driver had locked the keys inside the car. It took some time to get the door open, and I finally got home around 5 AM. Despite the hiccup, I loved every moment of it. Reconnecting with friends and capturing stunning images felt fantastic.
