I never had the opportunity to see the World Trade Center, but I vividly remember where I was when I heard about the twin towers being hit. I was in my room at home, watching "The Negotiator" with Samuel L. Jackson, when my father walked in and told me something terrible had happened in America.

These tribute lights serve as a powerful reminder that America will always stand tall and strong. I am proud to call NYC home.
